How to replace one of controllers in dual controller system in case one of controller failure?

Problem

How to replace one of controllers in dual controller system in case one of controller failure?

Solution

When there is one of the controller failed, the another controller will take the job from the failed controller automatically to achieve the no IO interrupted issue.

And it is easily to replace controller and recover back as normal status.

1. Remove the failed controller
2. Insert the good controller back the controller slot

Then this system will recognize this controller and the dual system will work properly.

If the failed controller is master controller, it will become slave controller after remove/insert this controller. If you would like to switch the master/slave controller, please reboot this system and the master/salve will be switched.
